Avatar and Smite Crossover Event Now Live

I'm a huge fan of the Avatar series, which isn't the blue monkey people on the Borderlands planet, but a beloved (and kick-ass) Nickelodeon cartoon. I really love Avatar, but yet I somehow missed the announcement that Aang, Zuko, and Korra were coming to the third-person MOBA game Smite.

The gang aren't actually new playable characters, but rather just skins to three of their already existing gods: Merlin skinned as Aang, Susano as Zuko, and Skadi as Korra. Skadi is actually two characters as well; Korra and her polar-bear dog/spirit-guide animal Naga.

With the trio (and Naga) comes a bunch of new stuff in the Avatar Battle Pass. It's also worth mentioning, if you are an Xbox Ultimate Subscriber, you'll get access to the Avatar Battle Pass for free! Everyone will get access to the "Free Track" items, but the rest will have to have the Battle Pass either bought or acquired through Xbox Ultimate Subscription. Here is all the stuff in the pass:

Free Track New Items

  • Team Avatar Jump Stamp
  • PABU! Avatar
  • The Avatar Loading Screen
  • The Avatar Title

Premium Track New Items

  • Zuko Susano
  • Korra Skadi
  • Aang Merlin
  • The Avatar Loading Frame
  • Aang Announcer Pack
  • Zuko Announcer Pack
  • Korra Announcer Pack
  • Air Nomads Animated Avatar
  • Water Tribe Animated Avatar
  • Fire Nation Animated Avatar
  • Earth Kingdom Animated Avatar
  • My Cabbages! Global Emote
  • Raava & Vatu Death Stamp
  • Appa Ward skin
  • Naga Ward Skin
  • The Elements Level Up skin
  • The Avatar Friends Jump Stamp

Prestige Track New Items

  • Blue Spirit Susano
  • Avatar Korra Skadi
  • Avatar Aang Merlin

The Prestige Track gets you access to three new Avatar skins on top of the first three: Aang & Korra in the Avatar state and Zuko dressed as the Blue Spirit.

The Avatar Battle Pass is live now so get in there and Smite some gods using the power of an insanely good kid's show. Also worth mentioning, if you haven't watched Avatar in awhile, Netflix has all three seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The original writers of the show are also bringing a live-action adaption to Netflix sometime soon!

See ya next time, gamrs.
