Today, Xbox announced they had struck a deal in acquiring ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda. You might know Bethesda from little games like Skyrim, Fallout, DOOM, and plenty of other titles.
This is a huge step for Xbox, who has been known for quite some time as having very minimal first party titles. I don't think it's Xbox's style to make future Bethesda games like Elder Scrolls VI or the equally anticipated Starfield Xbox exclusives, but it's still an astounding get for the company. Their first party developers were on the smaller end and still making great games, so just imagine how Bethesda will perform under Microsoft's new laid back, consumer oriented, marketing style that they have adapted over these past few years.
Do you think some more announcements are coming soon? Did Xbox just win this console generation before it even started? When will we see Elder Scrolls VI?
