After a leak two days ago, Xbox went ahead and announced the Series S officially and today have announced both prices and release dates as well. They had this info ready and pretty polished, so many wonder if they leaked it themselves to generate hype. Regardless, I'm just happy to have the info out in the world officially.
The Series X and S will both release November 10th for $499 and $299 with preorders going live on September 22nd. You have several weeks to prepare for the preorder, and with covid shutting down factories all over the world, if you really want a Series X|S this year, you might actually wanna lock one down as soon as you can. It hasn't been confirmed, but I'm sure supplies are limited.
If dropping $300 - $500 this fall isn't doable, then All Access can help you out. Xbox All Access is a subscription model for everything Xbox has to offer: GamePass, Xbox Live, and a Series X|S. Payments of $34.99 per month for 2 years will secure you a Series X and $24.99 per month for the Series S. You do have to pass a credit approval, since it's basically a loan.
