Everything Shown at the Xbox Games Showcase

For what is essentially Xbox's E3 for only their studios' games, I think it was very solid. But, we shall waste no time. Here is literally EVERYTHING shown at today's Xbox Games Showcase.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite was shown right out of the gate and it looks absolutely stunning. 60 FPS, open-world, ziplines, quick and fluid combat, fuck yes. It looks very Doom, but still extremely Halo. I think I'm in love.

State of Decay 3

Scream at some deer in this very cool zombie series. I put quite a few hours into State of Decay 2 and this next installment is looking to be very cool.

Forza Motorsport

Forza will continue their legacy of using every bit of power they can squeeze out of their generation's Xbox. In early development now.

Everwild

Everwild

Magic and nature come together in Rare's next title. Giving me some Horizon & Pokemon vibes with some spells thrown in there.

Tell Me Why

The Backstreet boys are back at it with a chapter-based mystery game that's very Life is Strange. Which is fitting, because the company, Dontnod, made both Life is Stranges among other notable games.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Rest assured, Ori will be optimized fully for the Xbox Series X with 120 fps while looking even more stunning-er!

Grounded

We already knew about this one, and it's coming in just a few days on the 28th to Game Preview (early access). This spot in the show was mostly used to showcase what Obsidian has been up to... and oh boy, are they up to something.

Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

The first of Outer Worlds DLC has been announced! New weapons, new location, new story. This asteroid, Gorgon, looks like has plenty to offer.

Avowed

This is Obsidian's big one. Apparently this is the game they originally came to Xbox to make years ago. It looks like a little bit of Bethesda might have rubbed off on them after their Fallout: New Vegas days...

As Dusk Falls

An interactive drama set in the Amercian South West. This one, seemingly by design, is very narrative focused with probably minimal gameplay. But that's chill, dude. It looks very dark, which I dig.

Psychonauts 2

Take a very trippy trip with Jack Black, smell the universe and taste the sky!

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Destiny is getting very creative with how you take out your enemies lately and Beyond Light looks very cool, icy, and frankly, refreshing. Gonna be optimized for Series X, running 60 FPS. Not to mention, this expansion comes to you FREE with GamePass.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

One of the worst games to try to type out correctly on a keyboard, ironically is a sequel to beloved PC game. Also, it looks pretty cool.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

You can never have too much Warhammer right? I've never actually played Warhammer, but that hasn't stopped me from seeing a new one release every few minutes.

Tetris Effect: Connected

Great shapes, great tunes.

The Gunk

Explore a planet while sucking up all it's Gunk with your Nintendo PowerGlove! Game or no game, I just love the name for this one.

The Medium

Play this spooky detective game in two worlds simultaneously rendered! This is literal nightmare fuel. It's unclear whether you can switch between both of the worlds or how exactly that mechanic comes into play, but it still looks very cool.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

This Sega title left me feeling very anime-y. I have no idea what this franchise is, but I hope this one looks good for the fans out there.

CrossfireX

Get ready for the next military shooter, but you can already play the multiplayer for free now on Xbox!

And... "One more thing.."

Fable

Playground Games is working on the next Fable title. I'm mainly just happy for the fans of Fable on this one. They have been waiting FOREVER for another Fable game. Let's hope this one is worth the wait.

This showcase might not have been entirely for everyone, but I do believe there was at least something for everyone. Racing, horror, HALO, fantasy. No doubt, there is quite the assortment of games. It wasn't the E3 level of conference we all might have wanted, but it was a solid B.

Thanks for coming on over! See ya next time, Gamrs.
