Today 343 gave an update on Halo Infinite, the update being they are pushing the release back several months. That sucks. Especially since Halo was Xbox's biggest at-launch title. Xbox, having been repeatedly hurt over the years for their lack of exclusives, really needed Halo this fall.
343 states in their update that the push is COVID related, which I mean, what hasn't COVID impacted. But, this is also done so they can put the extra polish on Halo to stop all the memes (hopefully). Halo Infinite's baddie has been mocked in a new meme poking fun at the game's lack of graphical ingenuity, especially with Xbox boasting such great graphical abilities.

That is just one of the good parts of having the release postponed. The other is to stop the slavery that many game developers are putting their workers through; the frantic last touches known as "crunch" which lasts for months and is pretty inhumane. Think of Amazon workers having to wear diapers to get the work done that is expected of them. Maybe not that extreme, but pretty close.
Anyway, this sucks, absolutely, but is for the greater good and that's OKAY. With a name like "Infinite", you should be expecting to play Halo for many, many years to come, so everyone wants them to get this one right.
