Ubisoft in Hot Water as Tom Clancy Game Depicts BLM Fist as Terrorists Group

Ubisoft's newest Tom Clancy mobile game has the USA going against domestic terrorists and are seemingly depicting them as BLM activists. Tom Clancy has always been political, but going so far as to use the BLM Fist as the game's anarchists that must be stopped, is pretty fucked up.

Tom Clancy's Elite Squad's trailer shows a group of terrible people rising up to destroy America and you as the player are set to stop them. The logo of these terrorists destroying America? The Fist. Black Lives Matter movement uses the same fist. The Fist has been used by Black Rights activists since the 1960's and has been largely adopted by the Black Lives Matter movement as millions across the country demand change.

This is an absolutely wild thing for Ubisoft to do during the current state of the USA. It's wild in general, really. They are taking down the Fist as quickly as possible within Elite Squad, but the overall premise and agenda of the game is still troubling, regardless.
